My experience in the Behavioral Health Field, personally began at birth and has been my calling professionally for the last 10 years. My older brother is Autistic. I have played a very active part in his life. My brother has lived at home his entire life. My family and I are his supports. I volunteered at Burlington County Special Services, in the classroom, respite, summer camp also field trips. I fell in love with my job, my career! I started as a CSS (Consumer Support Specialist), working in a Respite house which provided support to individuals whose families were on vacation or out of town. This gave me the experience and confidence to work with ANY individual regardless of their disability. I then gained employment as a house supervisor. I grew a respect for the field that can only come with helping and caring for someone else. I’ve successfully managed an all woman’s residence. The challenge was welcoming. I’ve recently been introduced to a company PPLLC (Public Partnerships LLC) which assists participants and their families with staff for a variety of different services including Individual, Respite and Community Supports. I became a Self-Directed Employee with PPLLC. This is a one on one personal experience with the participants because the participant controls every aspect of how their personal program is run inside their home and in the community. I met a Support Coordinator who suggested I become a Support Brokerage.
I embraced this idea whole heartedly without a question or doubt in my mind and NOW, I am here to introduce Caring Hands staffing….where your needs, wants and desires for your life plan will become reality.
